In 2014 events were held across the UK to mark the centenary of the Great War.

Dechmont Art Group participated in the centenary through contributions of art and craft.

This art work is linked to Bangour Village Hospital which played a major part in both wars when it was requisitioned by the War Office to house wounded soldiers.
